Flagging and work-zone protection on construction, utility and paving sites across the Lower Mainland.
Lane Closure Technician (LCT)
Laying out and supervising lane closures on multi-lane and higher-speed roadways, including night shifts.

Common Questions
A valid BCCSA Traffic Control Person certificate is required to work on the road in British Columbia. If you are enrolled in training or scheduled to certify, apply anyway and tell us your course date — we will keep your application active.
A Traffic Control Person directs traffic through a work zone — the flagging role most people picture. A Lane Closure Technician plans and builds the closure itself: advance signage, taper layout, buffer space and device placement, usually on multi-lane or higher-speed roads. LCT is a step up in both responsibility and pay, and most of our LCTs started as TCPs.
In most cases, yes. Sites are frequently outside transit hours or away from transit routes, and shifts often start before 6am. Reliable transportation makes you far easier to dispatch.
Most shifts are eight to twelve hours, weighted toward early starts. Night, weekend and holiday work is available and paid at a premium. We do our best to give you your schedule in advance and to keep your hours consistent week to week.
Yes. High-visibility apparel, paddles, radios, signage and all work-zone equipment are supplied. You will need your own CSA-approved safety boots and weather-appropriate clothing.
